MEGAN J DUGGAN Meg is an emerging artist with an interest in the expressive potential of abstract forms.

Her paintings evolve in response to materials and the harmony/disharmony wrought by bringing elemental components of visual language – colour, form, texture, line – together in ambiguous ways. These works seek out uncertainty, hesitation and the accidental as ways of accessing a state of wondering.

Meg received the John Christie Wright Memorial Prize in 2013 for outstanding painting (UniSA, School of Art), and her work is held in private collections in Australia, Canada and the UK.
